How to make best use of your time: Declutter.

As we have mentioned in our website, we believe in the power of networking, so let us share with you some tips you may find useful, from a recent networking event.

Plan ahead…look at your diary…select priorities. Have you ever thought about colour coding your diary ? By using a colour coded system, you could easily identify urgent, important and non – urgent tasks, which could allow you more “Me Time.” Just imagine how fantastic that would feel… Time to read that favourite book you have always been trying to find the time for. Or catch up with the soaps on T.V. Whatever relaxation means to you, make time for yourself.

Moving on with the theme of decluttering, a networking event I attended this week had me thinking… Have you ever wondered if you have the correct life/work balance in your life ? It’s all about balance… No I don’t mean balancing on a tight rope !

I mean the fine balancing tricks, which will help you to put your life into perspective. Have you used excuses not to get things done ? Do you keep putting things off ? Why not take ownership of your life and be accountable ? Focus on what you need to do, prioritise, and find your work life balance. Dolly Parton once said: “Never get so busy making a living, that you forget to make a life”.
